英文摘要：

Cushion technique is one of the key techniques of composite foundation.In this paper,the research situation about the influences and action mechanism of cushion in composite foundation is summarized.The research on the four respects of the cushion influence such as the load transfer,failure model,bearing capacity and settlement behavior in both rigid and flexible composite foundation are introduced mainly.At last the effect and action mechanism of cushion is discussed also from the view of adjusting stiffness of the foundation.
