英文摘要：

Stop consonants of Uyghur Language, as those of English, have the divisions of voiceless consonant and voiced consonant. An acoustical research is made on the plosives and tenius consonant in Uyghur Language. The plosives and tenius consonants included with in single-syllable or multi-syllable words are chosed from ＂Uyghur language acoustical database＂, their acoustical parameters in duration, tOT and GAP collected, and their detailed experimental analyses also given. The comparative study indicates that tOT and GAP are important parameters for distinguishing plosives and tenius consonants from each other. These studies aim at a better service for Uyghur natural language processing in future, and also serves as valuable reference for the study of other languages in the same language family.
