在文献调研的基础上,对常压火焰用做质谱电离源的可行性作了理论上的探讨。常压火焰近似于等离子体,含有丰富的离子和电子,具备成为电离源的必要条件。从离子碎裂反应机理的角度,分析了火焰中样品分子裂解和电离的可能机理,并总结出可能影响电离效率的相关因素。在一定的操作条件下,用常压火焰作质谱电离源,可望获得分析对象不同形态的结构信息。
Based on extensive research of literature, the feasibility of using ambient flame as ionization source of mass spectrometry is studied theoretically. The ambient flame, similar to plasma, contains abundant charged particles ( positive ions, negative ions and/or electrons), so it has the necessary condition to be used as ionization source. The possible mechanism of split and ionization of sample molecules in flame is analyzed from the view point of fragmentation reaction. Factors affecting ionization efficiency are discussed. Under suitable operational conditions, the different speciation information of molecules can be obtained by using ambient flame as ionization source of mass spectrometry.
