In vocational education, modern apprenticeship is gradually transited to the merging of teaching and production based on school-enterprise cooperation and combination of learning and working, which exerts a big impact on the talent fostering model in vocational colleges. The paper takes the optometry technology major in vocational colleges as a case to expound the procedures of modern apprenticeship, summarize the change of talent fostering model and introspect the demerits in the implementing process.
