The debate on non-derivative content has been a long-lasting issue,but there are more or less defects.Philosophers,such as Adams,have never reached fruitful contradiction;Fodors wrongly interpreted the opposite relationship as a kind of causal relationship.The isomorphism theory can only guarantee the possibility but the inevitability of mapping between X and＇X＇;it is obviously wrong for Dennett to regard natural selection process as an intention one,but Clarke＇s contradict ends in compromise.As a matter a fact,it is unreasonable as well as unnecessary to see derivative content as a symbol of cognition.
