Some technologies caused by low geometric accuracy and big shape error are yet to be solved to meet the requirements of high-speed and precision machining. Therefore, it is necessary to review current achieve- ments systematically and intensively. The principle and characteristics of high-speed cold rolling are analyzed. Domestic and foreign research are summarized. The research difficulties and the main problems in current re- search of high-speed cold rolling are pointed out. The development trends of high-speed cold rolling technology are proposed. There will help to develop the high-speed c0ld rolling forming theory and guide the engineering applications.
