The predictive PID control was used in stead of general PID control at the controlling level. By the ceaseless feedback tunning based on measuring information utilization at the supervisor level, the optimized setpoint was provided at the control level. The simulation result shows that this method can hurdle the uncertainty and improve the system performance and economic objective greatly compared with the fixed set-points, This new method is applied in a boiler system, whose control effect is also satisfactory.
