Based on the practice experience at home and abroad,the paper indentifies four typical return mechanisms of urban rail transit PPP projects. And then,summarizes the design points of return mechanism for urban rail transit PPP project through the case study and comparison analysis,that is the government support,the sufficient passenger flow,the development of profit space,the reasonable profit sharing mechanism,and the completeness of matching policies and regulations,provides references for the descision maker to design and establishment of the return mechanism in urban rail transit PPP project.
