[Purpose/significance] It is urgent for Chinese think tanks to promote transparency construction. This report conceptualizes think tank transparency in China, draws lessons from experience of transparency construction of international think tanks, and analyzes current situation of transparency of Chinese think tanks. This report also proposes policy recommendations for Chinese think tank transparency construction. [Method/process] This report designed the evaluation index system of think tank transparency in China. 100 think tank samples were selected and original data were collected. This report evaluated the overall status of Chinese think tank transparency. [Result/conclusion] Drawing the overall situation and the main problems of Chinese think tank transparency, the report puts forward five suggestions for Chinese think tank transparency.
