Coronary heart disease is a serious disease which is harmful to human health, and its clinical situation is not yet satisfactory. How to further improve its efficacy remains important for medical research bottleneck. Traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention of coronary heart disease showed good prospects, especially in individualized treatment based on syndrome differen- tiation and treatment characteristics. So starting with syndrome factors, for raising the level of coronary heart disease with TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment shows important guiding significance. Syndromes now become universal hot spots in the study of the medical profession in recent years. On TCM syndrome differentiation of coronary heart disease in recent years, resear- ches on pathogenesis,geographical differences, trends, objective research and other aspects and prospect commentary are as fol- lows.
