提出了一种多路聚合型联合输入/交叉节点/输出排队(CICOQ)交换结构,并从理论上证明了当聚合路数等于2时,多路聚合型CICOQ交换结构无需加速即可通过分布式调度算法实现模拟采用任意调度算法的输出排队交换结构。最后从实现的角度给出了多路聚合型CICOQ交换结构的工程设计方案,并通过仿真对该方案的性能进行了验证。
A multi link converging combined input-crosspoint-output-queued (CICOQ) switch is proposed based on this idea. It is proved that a multi link converging CICOQ switch working at the link rate can emulate an output queued switch by a distributed scheduling algorithm when the number of the links is equal to two. And more links will enable the switch unit of the multi link converging ClCOQ switch working at a lower speed. This virtue makes the multi link converging CICOQ switch more appealing while working under a higher speed network in the future, hence is more scalable. Finally, for the simplicity of implementation, an engineering design scheme for a multi link converging CICOQ switch is presented, and the performance of it is proved to be valid through simulations.
