Private capital plays an important supportive role in the development of strategic emerging industries. However, it encounters a lot of obstacles when investing in the industries, which require strong technology development ability, high-end international talents and abun- dant financial reserves. The restrictions to the enterprises include the lack of a scientific management system, weak independent innovation ca- pacity, narrow financing channels, high-end talent shortage, and the absence of advantage of economies of scale and an international perspectiv~ Private enterprises should select different strategies in accordance with the development status and characteristics of the emerging industries they chose to enter and their own resource strengths. They should adopt an independent development pattern based on their own resource advan- tages, make up the technological disadvantage with capital strengths, fully utilize preferential policies provided by the government, improve the innovation awareness of entrepreneurs, and cooperate with international partners to consolidate their technology strengths.
