In order to study the optical center of the rotational parabolic thin lens combinations,the authors first discuss the optical center of a single parabolic thin lens,then based on the theory of equivalent optical systems,they study the definition,nature and location of the optical center of the rotational parabolic thin lens combinations in detail,and find that the location of the optical center depends on the lens spacing,parabolic shape,the lens materials and the refractive index of the surrounding medium.Finally they discuss the location of the optical center of the rotational paraboloid in some special circumstances in the air.
