NLK(Nemo-eike kinase)is an evolutionary conservative kinase closely related to mitogen-actived protein kinases(MAPK)which belongs to serine/threonine protein kinase. In recent years, many of studies have shown that NLK signal transduction plays an important biological effects in lower class animal′s cells and mammalian cells.NLK regulate and control of many transcription factors, such as TCF/LEF,c-Myb,STAT3,Notch/Delta and so on,resulting in a series of biological effects.Owing to its regulatory functions of a variety of transcription factors,NLK plays vital roles in regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, cancer development and immune response.
