This paper applied the CVM method and the questionnaire survey, assessed the traditional settlements landscape＇s low carbon value of Shanggantang Village.The results showed that,if made Chinese urban employed population in late 2011 as the study sample,and combined with the pay willingness rates in questionnaire survey, the total low carbon value of Shanggantang Village＇s traditional settlements landscape was 10. 889 billion yuan. Among the total value, the low carbon landscape＇s existence value was 3. 789 billion yuan, the low carbon landscape＇s heritage value was 2. 798 billion yuan, the low carbon landscape＇s exploiting value was 3. 016 billion yuan, and the other potential low carbon value was 1.285 billion yuan.
