Vision electrophysiology test is a method for functional evaluation of vision pathway from the retina to the cortex. It is a unique non-traumatic,objective,and quantitative examination to investigate the whole and localized function of the visual passway. It is important in clinical differential diagnosis,follow-up and prognosis evaluation. How to achieve accurate and reliable results rely on a standard examination and evaluation flow chart. International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision( ISCEV) suggested standard and updated procedure for basic vision electrophysiology test in clinical practise,including flash visual evoked potentials( FVEP),pattern visual evoked potentials( PVEP),pattern electroretinography( PERG),flash electroretinography( FERG),electro-oculography( EOG) and multifocal electroretinography( mf ERG).According to the practical usage in Chinese population,we summarized the details of standard application of clinical vision electrophysiology test.
