In this paper the p-version discontinuous Galerkin method was firstly introduced, and the numercial scheme of p-version discontinuous Galerkin method for a singularly perturbed initial value problem is designed. Then numercial results showed that the numerical flux of the p-version discontinuous Galerkin solution at nodes has the uniform exponential rate of convergence property.
