The resolution of phase ambiguity is the key of using GPS to perform high precision fast positioning. Here, an equality equation which only contains ambiguity parameters is constructed, and a parts ambiguities search method is suggested. The manipulating steps are as follows: (1) divides the ambiguities into the primary ambiguity group and secondary ambiguity group, and only estimates the float solution of the primary ambiguity group; (2) uses decorrelation method to reduce the correlations of the phase ambiguities; (3) after the primary ambiguity group is fixed, the secondary ambiguity group is resolved by utilizing the original equation groups. Examples show that applying the parts search method can facilitate the efficiency and success rate of resolving GPS phase ambiguity.
