英文摘要：

To reduce the economic disparity between PRD and its surrounding regions is an important aspect of the enterprise of forming a harmonious society in Guangdong province. Based on the basic data of GDP, the authors of the present paper use a multiple set of parameters to analyze the economic disparity between PRD and its surrounding regions. The results indicate that the economic disparity between PRD and its surrounding regions is enlarging, and presents three periods. The government should pay more attention to this issue and promote the integration between PRD and its surrounding regions.
