The driven non-linear drift wave-equation in plasma physics enters a strong turbulent state, characterised by spatiotemporal chaos, in certain parameter region, as a result of the crisis of attractors as shown before. In this paper, effect of white Gaussian noises on strong turbulence is investigated. It is found that white Gaussian noise can change the transition to strong turbulent state. Greater the noise intensity, earlier the system enters strong turbulence. Moreover, noise facilitates and fastens the occurences of crisis.
