Taking industrial water consumption and economic development over the past decade of Jiangsu Province as the background,on the basis of mechanism of industrial water consumption and economic development,this paper built the decoupling model.Then this paper further improves the Tapio decoupling model using identity and LMDI,recounting the driving factors of the decoupling relationship,and puts forward relevant suggestions.
