针对基于Ankerst方法的形状描述符对三维模型本身内容描述不够充分的问题,提出一种改进的三维模型检索方法.使用球壳和扇区组合模式对三维模型所在的空间进行分割,构成形状直方图;然后,旋转过球心的平面与模型求交点提取相交点信息和闭环,生成具有拓扑特征的形状描述符;利用相似函数来计算模型之间的相似度.实验表明,这种方法能达到比较好的检索效果.
To improve the adequacy of the shape descriptor using Ankerst's method, a modified method was proposed. Firstly, the space in which 3D models reside was partitioned using the combination of the shell and sector model, and shape histogram was constituted. Then, intersection points between the model and the rotational planes across the center of the sphere were computed. Closed loops were generated from these points, shape descriptor with topological characteristic was formed. Finally, the similarity between models was calculated using a novel function. The experimental results show that this algorithm can achieve better retrieving efficiency.
