针对基于点噪声的流场可视化不够形象的缺点,提出一种更直观的基于半规则纹理的三维表面流场可视化方法。首先,利用Mesh quilting技术在三维物体表面建立网格结构,并以组成网格结构的三角形作为基本模型,匹配样本纹理,形成第一帧纹理;随着流体的流动,角点的移动形成了新的网格结构,并对变形后的网格重新映射形成新一帧纹理图;最后,各帧纹理相连形成了一帧帧连续的流场动画。匹配过程中,为提高效率并保持帧之间的连续性,提出了最优纹理集加速匹配。实验表明,该方法可以获得较好的可视化效果。
To enhance the visual effect of the traditional spot noise method, a much more intuitionisfic method was proposed to use the near-regular texture to animate the 3D flow visualization for curved surfaces, At first, on the basis of mesh quilting technique, a lattice structure was constructed and the triangles were made of as the basic model which consisted of the lattices to replace the 3D flow surfaces with the sample texture to get the frst frame. The four corners of each lattice were moved along the flow to define a new lattice. And then a re-mapping on the deformed lattices was made to generate a new frame. The above step was to connect each frame to define a continuous fow field. In the mapping process, a best texture set was proposed to enhance the mapping efficiency and the coherent effect, The experimental results show that this algorithm can achieve better effect than the traditional ones.
