The recombinant spider silk protein was dissolved in the formic acid to a 70 g/ mL concentration. In different concentrations of methanol, ammonium sulfate for coagulation bath, the fiber is prepared by two modes, single stage and two-stage elongation. The effective of high polymer material and postprocessing on structure and mechanics performance of fiber, such as water-solubility, density, specific strength, are also analysed.
