红花观赏草莓新品种‘粉公主’和‘俏佳人’及其应用

‘粉公主’和‘俏佳人’分别是由草莓栽培品种‘吐德拉’和‘鬼怒甘’与红花草莓品种‘粉红熊猫’杂交育成的观赏兼食用的红花草莓新品种。‘粉公主’花粉红色,具有四季开花性,花期6个月,花较大,直径2.3-3.0 cm,花瓣5-7枚。果实红色,圆球形,酸甜,果小,约5-10 g,可溶性固形物含量7.4%;‘俏佳人’花深粉红色,花大,直径3.5-3.7 cm,花瓣5-7枚。果实楔形,红色,甜,一级序果平均单果重10.5g,最大果重15.0g,可溶性固形物含量9.6%。‘粉公主’和‘俏佳人’在沈阳地区露地栽植时,5月初始花,单花花期5-7d,6月初果实成熟。抗寒性强,抗叶斑病。这2个品种的果实大小、坐果率和品质明显优于亲本‘粉红熊猫’,适于露地栽培或盆栽观赏。

英文摘要:

Two new ornamental and edible red-flowered strawberry cultivars, ‘Pink Princess' and ‘Pretty Beauty', were the offsprings of the cross of ‘Tudla' × ‘Pink Panda' and ‘Kinuama' × ‘Pink Panda' respectively. ‘Pink Princess' had relatively large and pink flowers with a diameter from 2.3 to 3.0 cm. It was day-neutral and bloomed continuously from early May until mid October in the open field in Shenyang. Its fruit was red, round and relatively small with 5-10 g. The content of soluble solids was 7.4%. It tasted sour with some sweet. ‘Pretty Beauty' had larger and dark pink flowers with a diameter from 3.5 to 3.7 cm. Its fruit was red, cuneate and uniform with an average single primary fruit weight of 10.5g and the maximum fruit weight 15.0 g. The content of soluble solids was 9.6%. It tasted sweet. ‘Pink Princess' and ‘Pretty Beauty' started to bloom in early May in the open field in Shenyang. Usually, each flower generally lasted for 5 to 7 days. Their fruits ripened in early June in the open field. They had strong leaf spot resistance and cold resistance. The fruit size, the fruit setting rate and the fruit quality of the two cultivars were obviously better than those of ‘Pink Panda'. They were suitable to grow in the open field and pot.
