目的:观察苦杏仁、桔梗及二者配伍对小鼠的镇咳及祛痰作用。方法:小鼠连续5 d灌胃给药,末次药后1 h,采用浓氨水刺激法制造小鼠咳嗽模型,记录小鼠出现咳嗽潜伏期以及2 min内的咳嗽次数;小鼠连续5 d灌胃给药,末次药后30min,用酚红法检测小鼠的祛痰作用。结果:苦杏仁高、中剂量组,桔梗高、中剂量组,以及二者配伍组的小鼠咳嗽次数与模型组比较均显著减少(均P〈0.01),且二者配伍组的小鼠咳嗽次数显著少于同剂量的桔梗组和苦杏仁组(均P〈0.05);苦杏仁各剂量组、桔梗各剂量组以及二者配伍组小鼠气道酚红的排泌量均显著高于蒸馏水对照组(均P〈0.05),配伍组的气道排泌量与桔梗组和苦杏仁组相当。结论:苦杏仁、桔梗及二者配伍均有显著的止咳及祛痰作用;二者配伍在镇咳作用上有增效作用,在祛痰作用上未见配伍增效作用。
Objective : To observe the effect of Bitter Apricot Seed, Platycodon Root, and their compatibility for relieving cough and expelling phlegm. Method:Cough model was made by ammonia stimulation. Cough latency and cough times of the mice were recorded respectively. A mouse model of phenol red excretion was used to evalute the phlegm expelling. Result: Bitter Apricot Seed, Platycodon Root, and their compatibility all significantly reduced the cough times in the mice. Furthermore, the cough times of the compatibility group were significantly less than that of bitter apricot seed group and platycodon root group in the same dose. The phenol red excretion quantity of all groups of Bitter Apricot Seed, Platycodon Root, and their compatibility were significantly increased than that of control group. And there were no significant differences between the groups of Bitter Apricot Seed, Platycodon Root, and their compatibility. Conclusion:Both Bitter Apricot Seed, Platycodon Root and their compatibility have the evident effect of relieving cough and expelling phlegm. Furthermore, the compatibility of Bitter Apricot Seed and Platycodon Root increased the efficacy of relieving cough. However, the efficacy for expelling phlegm did not increased by their compatibility in the experiment. Whether the compatibility of Bitter Apricot Seed and Platycodon Root can increase the efficacy of expelling phlegm should be answered in further studies.
