英文摘要：

Hypertension is one of the most common chronic diseases with high rate of disabling and fatality, seriously impairing human body organs such as brain, heart and kidney. It is hard to avoid the side effects when treating high blood pressure by western medicine. However,adopting acupuncture to decrease high blood pressure is secure, non - toxic and has no side - effect and the curative effect is reliable. Acupunctruring at Renying proposed by SHI Xuemin with standard manipulation dose effect,is clinically applied with a favourable curative effects. In this paper, the authors discussed the theoretical foundation and functional mechanism of treating hypertension by acupuncturing at Renying from the ancient literature to modern anatomy and clinical research of acupuncture.
