Au core@Pt shell nano-particles were synthesized in sodium citrate solution by UV photochemical reduction and Au seeding growth.The structure,morphology and chemical state of the Au@Pt nano-particles were characterized using XPS,UV-Vis,and TEM.It was shown that the Au@Pt nano-particles had a core-shell composite structure with a mean size ranging from 7.3~10.2 nm.
