DENG He-ming was born in Hubei, China, in 1979. He received the B. En degree in resources exploration engineering from Chengdu University of Technology and the M. Sc degree in geochemistry from Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Science, in 2003 and 2006,respectively. He＇s presently working on his Ph.D. degree in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His main research interests include discharges of two phase mixtures and plasma techniques in environmental engineering. E-mail： denghem@gmail. com. HE Zheng-hao was born in Hubei, China, in 1957. He received the B En degree, the MEn degree, and the Ph. D. Degree in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Now, he is a professor in the college of electrical and electronic engineering of HUST. His main research interests include high voltage and insulation technology, pulse power techniques plasma techniques in environmental engineering. He received the BEn degree, the MEn degree in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He＇s presently working on his Ph. D. degree in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His main research interests include high voltage and insulation technology, pulse power techniques. LI Jin was born in Hunan, China, in 1940. He graduated from the college of electrical and electronic engineering of Hust in 1964. He was engaged in research in electrical discharges in Osaka University, Japan between 1980and 1982. Now, he is a professor in the college of electrical and electronic engineering of HUST, and a Senior Fellow of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering. His main research interests include high voltage engineering and plasma techniques in environmental engineering. He has published over 200 journal papers in these areas.
