Appearance quality of fruits and vegetables is to assess its market value, according to the choice of the consumer, and to some extent will affect the internal quality. This paper analyzes the development status of computer vision system for fruits and vegetables external quality testing. To propose the existing problems and suggestions of computer vision in southern Xinjiang appearance quality detection of fruit and vegetable, and aim at providing the reference for fruit and vegetable quality de- tection technology research and development in southern Xinjiang.
