＂Combat Weakening＂is one of the historical facts which happened to Wushu since the Quanzhong came into being in M ing and Qing dynasties. In order to analyze this phenomenon of Wushu,using research methods of literature and historical analysis,this paper discussed the causes of the ＂combat weakening ＂phenomenon of Wushu,the pros and cons for the development of Wushu which are caused by the＂combat weakening＂phenomenon,and howto treat this phenomenon. The conclusions are： 1. the happening of the＂combat weakening＂phenomenon of Wushu is the common cause of the inside and outside,subjective and objective reasons of social need and the technical structure change of Wushu. 2. as with other things,the phenomenon of ＂combat weakening＂of Wushu has both advantages and disadvantages to the development of Wushu.
