In recent years, with in-depth research of electronic nose technology, the bionic olfactory system has been widely applied in the medical field. This article elaborated basic components, working principle, recent achievements of electronic nose in the modem medical application. And it proposed a new mode about combina- tion of the electronic nose technology with the dialectical thinking of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）.
