More and more people attentions are attracted by membrane materials as a core technologies of membrane separation. This paper outlines the applicationes of membrane technology, focusing on inorganic membrane materials classification and preparation methods and applications. The various types of inorganic membrane materials and preparation methods were listed. The future research directions of inorganic membrane materials were indicated.
