In this paper, an overall review on the progress in the research of carbon nanotubes supercapacitors is presented. The advantages and disadvantages of carbon nanotubes as electrode materials of supercapacitors are discussed. The methods of producing carbon nanotubes supercapacitors with high specific capacitance are also introduced.
