This paper profoundly reveals the mechanism and condition of farmer cooperatives＇ joint operation in China,on the basis of which an econometric model is established to conduct an empirical validation.The economic effect of farmer cooperatives＇ joint operation is significantly positive,which can integrate resources,match industrial chains,and reduce costs,and so on.But the realization of the economic effect is influenced by such factors as industrialization,urbanization,human capital accumulation as well as the fluctuating price of agricultural products.Finally,it proposes some policy recommendations based on the conclusions.
