Agricultural division of labor is the source of agricultural economic endogenous growth. Building Tobit and Possion regression models with rural survey data from six provinces of China, this paper verify whether farmer cooperatives can promote agricultural labor division significantly. The conclusion is that farmers＇ participation in farmer cooperatives can significantly improve agricultural labor division, in the meanwhile, farmers＂ endowment and village feature have significant impact to agricultural labor division . So it is effective policy choice for promoting agricultural economy development to cultivate and develop farmer cooperatives and enhance its function of promoting agricultural labor division.
