The external force on the ship segment is calculated according to ＂Maritime Towage Guide＂.The maxi mum horizontal and vertical securing forces that welds of securing structure are able to provide are calculated through shear strength calculation of welds according to the shear strength theory.With these data the securing arrangement is determined after verifying the transverse sliding balance,longitudinal sliding balance and transverse flipping balance.The design method of welding securing arrangement is applicable for heave-big piece transport by sea in general.
