英文摘要：

A multi-objective model is formulated based on the statistic data of Yinchuan, which is about population, resources, environment and economy. According to the targets of the 11th Five-Year plan made by Development and Reformation Commitee, the authors put forward concrete target functions, the pattern searth method was used to solve the model. Considering the influnce of resources, environment and economy on the scale of the population, with the help of analysis of these results, population speculation are gained. The application shows that this model can provide decision support for the plan of population development.
