本文基于2005 ～2010年中国287个地级市的面板数据,采用面板数据工具变量方法及结构方程模型对外商直接投资的产业结构效应进行实证检验.研究发现,外商直接投资及产业结构存在明显的东西部地区差异和城市间差异.实证结果表明外商直接投资对提升第三产业的比重存在显著的正效应.同时受地区区位因素影响,外商直接投资具有内生性,外商直接投资与产业结构之间存在交互影响.

英文摘要：

This paper analyzes the industrial structure effect through Foreign Direct Investment by using panel data instrumental variable methods and structure equation model based on 287 cities panel data in China from 2005 - 2010. This paper demonstrates that the industrial structure and foreign direct investment are divergent among different regions and different cities. The result of the empirical study shows that there is a significant positive effect for improving the proportion of the third industrial structure. Meanwhile, because of the regional factors, foreign direct investment interacts with industrial structure. Foreign direct investment is an endogenous variable in the econometric model.
