In this paper, we study smooth points of the unit ball of L（lM, X）. By using the character representation of bounded linear functionals of lM, we prove that ExtB（1M） CExtB（lM＊＊） and give the characterization of the smooth points of the unit ball of K（lM,X）, which generalize corresponding results of Grzslewicz and Younis.
