According to the micro-structure of thermal sensitive polyurethane(TSPU) and its thermal responsive characteristics,the TSPU applications were introduced.The TSPU shows an obvious segmented structure and the main chains are constitute of soft segment and hard segment.When the temperature rises above the phase transition temperature of soft segment(defined as switch temperature,Ts),the size of free volume holes,the water vapor permeability and mechanical properties change remarked,showing thermal sensitivities.Because of the particular structure and thermal sensitive,the TSPUs show wide applications in breathable textile,packaging,agricultural film,separation,controllable reaction and so on.
