OBJECTIVE To identify and quantitate β-sitosterol(Sito) and β-sitosterol-β-D-glycoside(SitoG) in total flavones of Hippophae rhamnoides(TFH).METHODS TLC method was utilized to identify Sito and Sito G in TFH.The Sito G was determined by RP-HPLC.The mobile phase of pure methanol was delivered at a flow rate of 1.0 ml·min-1.The Diamonsil C18(150 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) column was maintained at 35℃,and the detective wavelength of the UV detector was set at 205 nm.The SitoG concentration was calculated with the standar...
