Analyzing on the five cases of building integrated photovoltaic in UK starting with Doxford International office building, various approaches and strategies is set out for skillful incorporation of photovoltaic and architecture. Subsequently, it is proposed about the multi- viewpoint of BIPV, the design specialties on BIPV, architect＇s role and responsibility. With the comparison of the environmental condition of BIPV between UK and China, the good development of BIPV in China is convinced.
