农村中小学教师是我国教师队伍的重要组成部分。随着经济社会的发展,农村中小学教师地位有所提高,其待遇得到了一定程度的改善,但由于农村中小学教师工资福利待遇较差、教师急于实现个人价值以及存在一定程度的职业倦怠,因而,在发展过程中存在师资流失严重的现象,主要表现为从农村流向城市,流失数量逐年增加且具有明显的年龄、性别特征,其危害表现在:一是严重影响了师资队伍的稳定,降低了农村中小学教育教学质量;二是导致生源流向城镇,使得城镇中小学班额超标;三是制约了教育事业的健康发展。为化解该问题,需要加大教育经费投入,改善农村中小学教师待遇;加强教师职业道德建设,增强教师的成就感和价值感等,这些举措是缓解农村中小学教师流失的对策。
