The output-feedback adaptive control problem was investigated for a class of stochastic nonlinear time varying delay systems driven by stochastic noise of unknown covariance. By utilizing the backstepping de- sign technique, acontroller based on observer and the adaptive law only correlated with output was constructive- ly presented to guarantee that the closed-loop system is globally asymptotically stable in probability, where the designed observer and adaptive controller are all independent of time-delay. A simulation example demonstrates the effectiveness of the control scheme.
