A method of generating quadratic spline curves based on the weighted algebraic and hyperbolic polynomial is presented in this paper,which shares many important properties of quadratic non-uniform B-splines. Here the weight coefficients are also shape parameters ,which are called as weight parameters. The intervai[0,1] of the weight parameter values can be extended to [-12.1986,12.6061].Taking different values of the weight parameters,one can not only totally or locally adjust the shape of the curves and can change the type of some segments of a curve among the algebraic or hyperbolic functions as well. Letting one or some weight parameters be -12.1986,the curve can interpolate certain control points or control polygon edge directly.
