The AHP method is a most useful method in the varied methods of determining index weight. In order to determine indicator weight more objective, the judgment matrix is constructed by experts. This article is based on the judgment matrix to choose the experts by the statistical analytical method. The clustering analysis principle is used to classify the experts and to determine the expert weight. The index weight is modified based on the index series after the indices change. At last, a case of city＇ s environment quality evaluation among the city＇ s sustainable development index is used to explain in detail the method that gives the weight of each indicator.
