A control strategy of diesel methanol compound combustion (DMCC) engine was introduced,and how electronic control unit (ECU),using MAP interpolation method,precisely controlled methanol injection was explained. The control strategy was validated by test on road and test-bed. The road test results show that the ratio of methanol to diesel fuel is 1.67, and the rate of methanol to diesel fuel is 36%. Economic performance of vehicle fuel is improved remarkably and vehicle power is increased to some extent.
