Objective To determine the total flavnoids in＂ different parts of Santalum album. Provide the basis for the comprehensive utilization of Santalum album. Methods Collected the samples of different parts of Santalum album regularly, the contents of total flavonoids in Santalum album was determined by means of ultravioletvisible absorption spectroscopy at 500nm. Results The content of total flavnoids in leaves is 5.42%, 2.38% in delicate brances and 0.72% in trunks. Conclusions The content of total flavnoids in the leaves and delicate brances are higher, and can be useful.
