AVS是我国具备自主知识产权的第2代信源编码标准。为了能够利用其它国际信源编码标准的多媒体资源,需要将其转码以符合AVS标准。通过对MPEG-2和AVS-M两种视频编码标准编码方法的研究,结合TMS320DM642数字媒体处理器的特点,提出了在其上实现MPEG-2到AVS-M实时转码的优化策略,并采用单指令多数据流指令集加以实现。
AVS is the second-generation encoding standard of China, and is the independent intellectual property. In order to process the multimedia resources of other international encoding standards, a transcoding technique is needed for converting such resources to AVS standard. Based on thorough study of MPEG-2 and AVS-M, a method of implementing the real-time MPEG-2-to-AVS-M transcoder using optimization is proposed, by taking advantage of the characteristics of the TMS320DM642 processor. And the transcoder is implemented by the SIMD instructions.
